After spending sunrise photographing the famous Snake River Overlook I took some time to drive around and explore some nearby roads. While the sunrise was not spectacular, I was amazed at the light that was pouring out from between these frost covered trees as the sun rose further in the sky. Processing the image in black and white further focuses the eye on the play of dark and light in the shadows and sunburst of the trees.
