Ancient Ruins

The ancient Anasazi, or Ancestral Puebloans, have left an enormous number of pit houses, cliff dwellings, and granaries scattered throughout the desert Southwest. The experience of exploring remote canyons and discovering these ruins is unique and fulfilling.

A colorful sunset at False Kiva has always been an elusive setting. I was lucky enough to capture this one when I stayed after everyone else left, and had the whole place to myself.
